Standing GCEA Committees
Nominating Committee: Solicit nominations for open positions in the Board of Directors and standing committees, ensuring a diverse and well vetted slate of candidates.
Education Committee: Plan and facilitate the annual conference; review, develop, and maintain educational resources; support member-led initiatives and targeted educational needs.
Membership Committee: Foster community and organizational awareness across members. Welcome new members and collaborate with the Board of Directors on membership policies. Oversee the GCEA salary survey and the Outstanding Supervisor Award.
Values in Action Committee: Assess GCEA organizational culture and needs in order to promote a community that centers marginalized voices and fosters brave dialogue. Collaborate with other GCEA committees and associated organizations (ex. NSGC, ACGC, ABGC) on projects and initiatives as needed.
Match Committee: Work with the Board on all issues relating to the Match. Review and maintain information regarding match exceptions and Match Integrity Subcommittee (MIS) guidelines. Prepare annual public report on Match demographics.
